Low Signal Strength LGL45C

Low Signal Strength LGL45C

Postby bphelps_pilot » Thu Aug 16, 2012 3:22 pm

I have the above phone - having recently come to the Net10 family. Most of the time I have good signal outside of my home, but inside the house, the signal is weak. Previously I had AT&T service, and had no problems with signal strength, even in my daylight basement where my home office is located. Can you help me determine a solution to increase the cell strength, especially in my home office. Currently I can get 1 or 2 bar, I start with 3G service, but it reduces to 1 bar and 0 bar, and 1X service on the indicators. I can commonly receive calls, but the call usually drops, or the other caller has difficulty hearing me. Do you have any suggestions ?

Thanks

Hey I just bought this phone yesterday and its not working where my lg "not so smart" touchscreen phone was previously working I can text but no calls or Internet. The 3G signal is at 1 bar at home. How can I fix that. Btw PRL update and provisioning were successful after multiple power cycles.

Hi Motiv. My name NET10 Stephanie. If you are getting low signal, that means you are far from the nearest network in the area. Please be informed that the phone runs off Sprint Prepaid Network and your old phone could be Verizon. The network connection will vary with the phone's technology and your location with the network. Thanks!

I am having the exact same problem. Usually, wherever I am, I get a good signal, but for some reason, my 3g often goes away when I'm at home. Any ideas?
