Ok people here's the settings that you need. Unfortunately, for some reason, Net10 doesn't want people to be able to figure this out without going directly through them. First thing that you need to do is search for the Network Setup app. It's a Nokia app and it's called "Network Setup" so if you go to your generic marketplace you may not find it. Figure out how to find it first and then download. It will allow you to enter more detailed APN settings.

Here are the settings that you need for internet:

Access Point Name - tfdata
Proxy address - proxy.mvno.tracfone.com
Proxy port - 80
Everything else (username, password, etc) is blank.

Here are the settings that you need for MMS:

MMS Access Point Name - tfdata
Proxy address - mms3.tracfone.com
Proxy port - 80
MMSC address - http://mms-tf.net
Everything else (username, password, etc) is blank.

The next thing that you need to do is shut down your phone. When you restart, it should work. Keep in mind, Net10 sucks (but it's cheap so who can complain) so the system locks you up periodically. You'll send something and get "Can't send. Retry?". Just shut down your phone and restart and it should work again.

I currently have an unlocked Nokia Lumina 800 with an ATT net 10 SIM card and I still cannot get picture messages to work no matter what I have tried.

Hey everyone! I found the fix for the issues with Nokia phones. You have to set up 2 different apn's

To set up internet:
Click Menu > Settings > Connectivity > Settings > Network Destinations > Internet > Options (the 3 lines in bottom right corner) > New access point > No > Mobile data

Connection name: Net10
Access Point name: att.mvno
Username: I left it the same (WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM)

Save these settings and click options (the 3 lines in the bottom right) > Advanced Settings

Proxy server address: 66.209.11.33
Proxy port number: 80

All other setting should be left alone.

That should do it when you start your internet select Net10 service


To set up MMS, (multi-media messaging) Picturing messaging.

Click Menu > Settings > Connectivity > Settings > Network Destinations > WAP services > Options (the 3 lines in bottom right corner) > New access point > No > Mobile data

Connection name: NET10mms
Access point name: att.mvno
Homepage: http://mmsc.cingular.com

Save these settings and click options (the 3 lines in the bottom right) > Advanced Settings

Proxy server address: 66.209.11.33
Proxy port number: 80

All other setting should be left alone.

Once you define this new network you have to set it to default.

Click Menu > Messaging > Options > Settings > Multimedia Message > Access Point in Use > Net10mms

That should do it!!


Net10 There are a lot of people that are having this same issue I don't mind helping out, It would be nice to get a couple free months of service :D

Hi jreis87. My name is NET Maria. You need to check if your web browser is working using your mobile data for your MMS to work properly. In addition, the APN must be updated. You can check your APN at www.net10byop.com. Thanks.
