How do I transfer from onw net10 to another net10 phone?

Hi, ohno57. My name is NET10 Shelly and I will be addressing your question. The transfer process is simple and easy. You will need to have both phones with you during the process. If you wish to keep the same phone number, the old phone must remain active. Do not attempt to activate the new phone so we can successfully transfer the number. You may choose to log on to www.net10.com and select the "Activate" button then "Transfer my existing NET10 service." Or, contact our customer care at 1-877-836-2368 to speak with a representative. Our hotline number is open from 8:00AM to 10:45PM EST, Monday to Sunday. We can also help you here. If you should need our assistance, please let us know. Thank you.

Not to a new Net10 phone but transfer from a Net10 phone to a current Net10 phone, like it is done in other countries.

Hi ohno57. Please be informed thaht once we transfer the minutes from one active phone to another active phone, the phone where we get the minutes from will be deactivated since the service days will be transferred as well. We cannot transfer partial minutes and service days from one phone to another. Hope this answers your question. Thank you.

I would like to transfer the minutes and days from the one active phone to another and then port the number to an unlimited plan. By activating an unlimited phone with the number and not transferring out the minutes and days prior is wasting money, which goes against what you talk about - saving money.

So, how do I trasfer the minutes out and port the number to a new activation without loosing the minutes, days and number in the process?

Hello ohno57 - I'm new to this forum (signed up today) and I added you as a friend because I thought I could contact you directly, but apparently I cannot due to never having posted that feature is disabled for now.

At any rate I realize that your post (quoted below) is dated January 10, 2013 -- but I'm hoping that you'll still get this message. Where you able to do what you were requesting? If so, what is the procedure - step by step, please.
