Phone will not activate

Hello,

We already have one net10 phone for our son and love it. We gave our daughter a new net10 phone for christmas.

The new phone will not activate. It has been more than 24 hours since we called to perform the activation process, and the phone still says "activation required". It has been turned on and getting 3 or 4 bars during that time.

When i go to the net10 "technical support" page and enter the serial number i get this message:

"The Serial number entered is pending a transaction. Please allow 5 minutes to process the transaction."

When i wait 5 minutes and try agin, i get the same message.

Is there anything i can do to get the phone activated?

It is my understanding that I need to submit 5 posts to reply to a private message? If so, this is one of those posts.
