Rejected SIM in new phone

We purchased a new LG phone today, and upon powering on, it shows Rejected SIM, and goes into an emergency only state.

Even though we went through all the steps to change over the old phone to the new one, the old phone is still active, and the new phone continues to show Rejected SIM. We tried the SIM out of the old phone, with the same result.

Is the new LG phone defective?

Plus I have to wait for approval by a moderator. This is getting less user friendly by the moment.

workinghorse, while waiting until you are able to respond through private message, please provide me the serial number/IMEI/MEID of your phone from here together with your SIM number. I will edit the information before I will approve it for security reasons.

You can find it in the SIM card itself. Kindly remove the SIM card out and there you can find a number.

workinghorse, it seems that you are now able to post without moderator's approval. For the SIM number you provided, it is not the same in our records. Make sure to insert the original SIM that comes with this new phone. Note that SIM cards are not interchangeable with NET10. If you have the original SIM card, kindly insert it in and see if it works. If not, please provide me the SIM number.
