Text Messaging to Net10 phone from a Computer

My phone is an LG 300 G. It does not have a web browser. I am not interested in a phone with a web browser. Every major carrier has a SMS gateway (a way to send an email as text message). I am guessing that this issue stems from the fact that my number was transferred from AT&T and something is not configured properly on the net 10 side.

Using http://www.telcodata.us/search-area-cod ... nge-detail it shows my carrier to be NEW CINGULAR WIRELESS PCS. I have tried all cingular gateways and at&t gateways. Why doesn't net 10 have their own gateway? Why my carrier still shows up as cingular after transfering to net10 I have no idea.

Ultrasquid, your phone number gets registration from AT&T network although your phone is a Net10 phone but the number assign to your phone is registered with AT&T. Therefore, you can use this pattern for sending text to your e-mail: yourphonenumber@mms.att.net. Hope this helps. Please let us know. Thank you.

ultrasquid, they must have changed the pattern. Did you try the suggested pattern (6787638481@cingularme.com) then? Please let us know. Thank you.

Here are the following patterns I have tried (basically every one for at&t and cingular I have found on the internet)...

[my_phone_number]@mycingular.textmsg.com
[my_phone_number]@mobile.mycingular.com
[my_phone_number]@mobile.mycingular.net
[my_phone_number]@mycingular.textmsg.com
[my_phone_number]@mobile.mycingular.com
[my_phone_number]@mobile.mycingular.net
[my_phone_number]@mms.cingularme.com
[my_phone_number]@mycingular.net
[my_phone_number]@mycingular.com
[my_phone_number]@txt.att.net
[my_phone_number]@cingularme.com

All emails returned undeliverable.

It is also worth noting that I can not send a text from my phone to an email address... If I could do that, I could see what the from address was. This is why I think something is configured improperly on the net 10 side.
