call restriction 5

Postby SusanDodge » Mon Aug 10, 2015 11:29 am

I cannot make a call from US to Lithuania. I get a message saying to check "call restriction 5." What is that? Customer service at Net 10 was not able to help me.

I bought a $12 International Card and used the access number to try and call Indonesia. I keep getting the "call restriction 5" error message. I burnt a good 20 minutes air time with (2) Customer Service people trying to find out what "restriction 5" was. Nobody could tell me, but assured me the problem was "fixed". It wasn't. I still can't use the card minutes to call Indonesia. I later wrote a letter to Customer Service in Florida, but I never got a response.

The International Card I bought is totally useless. Thanks, NET10.

This is the only reason I can find why my $10 Global Long Distance card won't work (restriction 5?).

"NET10 also offers a $10 Global Calling Card that must be used with another NET10 Service Plan in order for it to work." I have a pay-as-you-go plan and not a "service plan"? I didn't see any restriction when I purchased it.
